All-Levels Hatha-Flow class...Harmony between one's Body, Mind and Environment is the basis for a healthy and happy life. In this Dosha balancing yoga practice we will build heat (Tapas) to detox the tissues while simultaneously exploring our range of motion, strength and flexibility. Guided breathing and restoratives will finish out this practice as we cultivate Clarity, Calmness and Contentment (santosha).

Hatha Yoga 1/2

Influenced by many yoga traditions the teachers seek to combine a class that draws upon the disciplines of various yoga traditions to help student develop a well rounded practice. Music played in this class.

Hatha Yoga, Traditional

All Levels

In this class we will explore the sacred teachings of yoga in a safe surrounding, thru asana, philosophy, learning to use our breath , building a strong foundation of the body to move us deeper into our practice. Physical alignment is addressed as are each persons specific abilities.
We move slowly to understand, explore and challenge each asana and to remain in the present moment. The 4th week of each month we practice restorative postures.

Intro to Iyengar Yoga

All Levels

This course is designed for students new to the practice of yoga or Iyengar yoga. In addition to learning the basic poses (asanas) students will develop strength, flexibility and confidence while receiving individualized attention. This class provides a solid foundation in the Iyengar method. 

Iyengar Yoga 1

All Levels

Level 1 is a foundation for learning the whole scope and depth of the Iyengar method is taught in standing poses, shoulder-stand, other fundamental postures, and breath awareness. Beginners are welcome.
Taught by a Certified Iyengar Yoga Instructor.

Iyengar Yoga 1/2

Intermediate

Iyengar Yoga is a mixed level class that teaches the classic yoga postures with a deep awareness of correct alignment and precise actions in the body. This technique helps to refine your poses while it trains the mind to remain alert, focused and composed. 6 months of Iyengar experience is required.

Taught by a Certified Iyengar Yoga Instructor.

Iyengar Yoga 2

Intermediate

‚ÄčLevel 2 is a bridge between the Level 1 and Level 3 classes. Introduction and expanded study of more intermediate poses (including headstand) and pranayama is taught. One year of Iyengar yoga experience is required. Not for beginners.

Restorative

All Levels

Restorative yoga calms the nervous system, builds the immune system and encourages deep rest for the mind and body. It is especially helpful during times of stress and transition. Beginners are welcome.
